Our Orthopedic Solutions service line focuses on functional recovery, conservative musculoskeletal management, and mobility optimization—without performing injections, surgeries, or narcotic prescribing.
We collaborate closely with facility staff, physical therapists, pain management, and primary care teams to deliver coordinated, high-quality orthopedic management on-site.
?? Position Summary
We are seeking a licensed Physician Assistant (PA), Nurse Practitioner (NP), or Physician with orthopedic experience to join our growing team. You will be responsible for evaluating and managing orthopedic conditions in skilled nursing and assisted living environments across the greater Jacksonville area.
? Responsibilities
Perform bedside evaluations of non-surgical orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions
Provide post-operative orthopedic follow-up care (non-interventional)
Coordinate therapy plans, bracing recommendations, and imaging needs
Remove sutures/staples and perform basic orthopedic wound care
Collaborate with facility providers, therapists, and nursing staff
Document findings and treatment plans in alignment with Medicare and SNF standards
Support fall prevention, functional recovery, and joint preservation initiatives
?? Requirements
Active Florida licensure (PA, NP, or MD/DO)
Minimum 2 years of orthopedic experience (inpatient, outpatient, or SNF setting)
Excellent communication and documentation skills
Comfortable working independently in SNF/ALF environments
Experience with geriatric populations preferred
EMR experience (Elation Health or similar) is a plus
Ability to travel between multiple facilities in the Jacksonville area
