Opatril Concrete Construction is looking for an Accounts Payable Manager and Office Assistant.
Location: Fargo, ND/Moorhead, MN
We are a Cast in Place Concrete Construction Company and have been in business for 50+ years, based in Moorhead, MN.
We specialize in Residential, Commercial, Agricultural and Industrial Cast in Place concrete projects.
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts-Payable Accountant & Office Coordinator to join our team. This role is essential to maintaining accurate financial operations and ensuring smooth administrative processes. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting skills, excellent organizational abilities, and the flexibility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment.
Key Responsibilities
Accounts Payable (Primary Function)
- Enter, code, and process vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
- Manage accounts payable entries in accounting software and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Reconcile monthly vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Collaborate with the Controller to ensure proper cost allocation and job cost tracking.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes as needed.
Office Administration (Secondary Function)
- Answer incoming calls and provide professional communication with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
- Support general office operations, including document management, filing, and correspondence.
- Assist with scheduling, meeting coordination, and other administrative tasks as required.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate’s degree in accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in accounts payable or construction industry finance.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Experience with Computer Ease or similar accounting EAP is a plus.
- Core Competencies:
- High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information with integrity.

- Competitive hourly wage: $25 – $28/hour (based on experience and qualifications)
