Job Summary:
Completion of all basic Client supervision duties and/or documentation within Program and timelines
- Client rounds on a half hour/hour basis, checking vitals and documentation in KIPU
- Responsible to read shift log at beginning of shift and complete their own shift log and essential tasks contained therein by conclusion of shift
- Complete new admission intake procedures according to Program policies on all new admissions (UA, belongings searches, paperwork)
- Documentation of daily progress in client files, group notes, end of shift reports.
- Conducting recovery groups for clients in residential level of care and documenting these groups
- Transporting clients (discharges, appointments, intakes, etc.)
- Assessing client withdrawal symptoms & self-administer medication pass documentation
- Preparing meals for clients
- Keeping house clean & organized
- Medications for clients in accordance to Program and guidelines (medication observation)
- Administering detoxification protocols (completion of CIWA, COWS forms, vital signs, rounds) on all detoxification clients
- Crisis Intervention & AMA blocking
- Remain in compliance with HIPPA
- Filing, making copies, other office duties as assigned
- Assist, teach and/or supervise clients with general household chores, cleanliness and food preparation cleanup as required
Other duties as assigned Minimum Requirements and Qualifications:
- Required RADT I / SUDRC (required)
- One year of experience in a human-services setting; strong professional references attesting to high degree of customer service, punctuality, and professionalism (preferred)
- Ability to follow instructions clearly and precisely while experiencing multiple competing demands for employee time (preferred)
- Current certification in First Aid/CPR (required)
- Current Food Handler's Certification/Card
- Valid California Driver’s License and good driving record (required)
