Compensation Structure: $70,000 - $80,000 Annual Base Salary + Bonus based on experience.
Role Overview
We’re looking for an experienced and community-minded Business Development & Marketing Manager who understands the unique needs of long-term care—particularly within rural communities—and has a genuine passion for relationship-building. The ideal candidate thrives in a close-knit environment and excels at engaging both local and broader healthcare networks, providers, families, and community organizations to strengthen our census, expand our visibility, and enhance our impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic plans to increase resident census and enhance community engagement.
- Develop marketing strategies that reflect the values of LB Homes and the needs of our community.
- Share our story through digital and print outreach.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with hospitals, clinics, senior service organizations, etc. in Fergus Falls and beyond.
- Represent the facility at community events, health fairs, and networking opportunities across Otter Tail County.
- Oversee digital and print marketing efforts tailored to our audience.
- Collaborate with admissions and clinical teams to ensure smooth transitions and positive resident experiences.
- Analyze referral trends, market data, and community needs to inform outreach strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred.
- 5–7 years of experience in healthcare, marketing, or business development preferred, preferably in long term care or skilled nursing.
- 3-5 years in a leadership role, preferably with healthcare, senior living, or nonprofit sectors.
- Understanding of rural healthcare dynamics and community-based outreach preferred.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
A genuine love for connecting with people.
Familiarity with Minnesota healthcare regulations and referral systems.
Proficiency in CRM platforms and marketing tools.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and social media platforms.
Experience managing marketing campaigns and brand development.
Demonstrated success in growing census or revenue through strategic initiatives.
