Job Description

Community Contractors, Inc. is a General Contractor/Construction Manager located in Grand Forks, ND.   And we are looking to hire experienced Carpenters.
We have lots of projects in the Grand Forks area, including the new Altru Hospital and projects on the University of North Dakota campus.

Responsibilities: The carpenter must possess a strong mechanical aptitude. The ability to read and follow blueprints, and use a variety of tools and measuring devices is required. They may be involved with any phase of a project. The listing of some of the duties the carpenter may be expected to perform include:

  • Follow established safety rules
  • A strong working knowledge of commercial construction methods.
  • Rough Carpentry work to include wall blocking and roof blocking.
  • Install architectural woodwork
  • Install doors, frames and hardware.
  • install miscellaneous specialty items (ie signage, toilet accessories, toilet partitions, Fire Extinguishers and Fire Extinguisher Cabinets).
  • Install casework, trim, countertops, and windowsills.
  • Additional duties as assigned

Experience Requirements:

  • 2 years of proven experience on a commercial project

Pay dependent on applicant’s experience.
