Description

Staff pharmacists fill orders for medications, monitor patient medication therapies, and provide drug information. Staff pharmacists supervise and direct support personnel. In the absence of the pharmacy director, a staff pharmacist may be required to assume the essential responsibilities and perform the duties of the pharmacy director.

Qualifications

Licenses and Certifications Required:

Active Pharmacist Licensure in the State of North Dakota.

Experience Requirements:

Hospital pharmacy experience preferred.

Special Skills or Training Requirements:

Typing skills are necessary. Verbal and numerical ability are necessary. Manual and finger dexterity are necessary. Ability to apply knowledge of pharmacy and pharmacology in interpreting and filling physicians' orders.
