Description

Under the direction of the Nurse Manager, and under the supervision of the RN or LPN, the Nursing Assistant provides direct, quality nursing care to residents.

Qualifications

Licenses and Certifications Required

• Current North Dakota CNA certification required.
• BLS required within 30 days of hire

Educational Requirements

• Certification required. Clerical training a plus.

Experience Requirements

• Previous nursing aide experience preferredbut not required.
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferredbut not required.

Special Skills or Training Requirements

• Computer and keyboarding skills is a plusbut not required.
