SECO Construction, Inc. has an immediate opening for an exceptional Commercial Construction Superintendent to join its commercial building team in Rapid City, SD. Minimum Qualifications:

Five years related experience and/or training

Ability to read and interpret documents such as plans, specifications, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to communicate effectively with customers and employees.

Must have a valid driver’s license.

General Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate activities of workers engaged in construction of buildings or other construction projects personally or through subordinate supervisors and/or employees.

Mentor, coach and train subordinates.

Manage the assets of labor, materials, and machinery/equipment so project is completed on or before scheduled completion time, in a manner that meets or exceeds company quality standards, at or under budget.

Coordinate all aspects of the construction project with Project Manager including review of project costs.

Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, inspectors, design professionals and owner representatives at the job site.

Effectively leads and manages all construction activity at the project site.
