Customer Service Associate

Location: Myrtle Beach, SC
Employment Type: Full-Time


Schedule & Availability

  • Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends
  • Occasional shifts at a nearby secondary store location may be required based on business needs

Store Hours:

  • Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM
  • Saturday: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Sunday: 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Job Summary

We are seeking dependable, customer-focused individuals to join a locally owned retail shipping and printing business in Myrtle Beach, SC. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service.

The Customer Service Associate is responsible for assisting customers with shipping, printing, and retail services while maintaining an organized, welcoming store environment. Providing friendly, accurate, and efficient service is the top priority in this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist customers in a friendly, professional, and courteous manner
  • Process shipping transactions and accurately operate the point-of-sale (POS) system
  • Assist customers with printing, copying, scanning, and document-related services
  • Package, label, and sort mail and shipments according to company and carrier standards
  • Promote and recommend available products and services based on customer needs
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and overall presentation of the store
  • Open and/or close the store as scheduled, following established procedures
  • Support team members and assist with daily operational tasks as needed

Qualifications

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset
  • Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office, email, and internet navigation
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • High attention to detail and strong sense of accountability
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift packages weighing up to 50–75 lbs
  • Previous experience in retail, customer service, shipping, or printing is preferred but not required
