Job Description

We are looking to hire a Decking and Construction Foreman to grow with our company!!!  As Decking and Construction Foreman, this position is responsible for working in tandem with the Landscape Project Manager, ensuring quality, and must have great attention to detail. It is also imperative they represent the company in a friendly and professional manner, at all times.

The ideal candidate is an individual with a good work history and existing decking/fencing and/or construction experiance looking for new opportunities in a rapidly growing company.

Essential Functions:

  • Inspect and test the vehicle and equipment daily to ensure it operates safely and correctly.
  • Ensure truck is loaded with all necessary equipment and materials to complete all work assigned for the day and the load is correctly secured.
  • Report to assigned job with Foreman and meet with the customer to review job, if needed.
  • Set posts, build frames, fence and/or deck all approved bids
  • Ensure job site is free of debris and all equipment is on the truck upon job completion.
  • Clean the truck and restock needed materials for future decking installations.
  • Perform duties safely at all times, maintain safe and clean and safe work area, and attend all tailgate and trimester/quarterly safety meetings.
  • Perform other duties and/or tasks as instructed and assigned.

Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. This may include lifting material in excess of 75lbs.

Education and Experience: High School diploma or General Education Development certificate (GED) preferred, or one to two years related experience or training.

Skills and Abilities: Requires working from detailed instructions and occasional independent decision-making. Ability to read, analyze and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, or procedural manuals. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions and decimals. Ability to apply common-sense understanding to carry out detailed written and oral instructions.

Licenses/Certificates/Registrations: Must have a valid driver’s license with a Motor Vehicle Record within company guidelines.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour / DOE
