We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team at Pfeiffer Industries in Boston, MA as a Dental Assistant. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our dental team and ensuring the comfort and well-being of our patients.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during examinations and treatment procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient appointments
- Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment
- Take and process X-rays
- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist
- Record patient treatment information in electronic health records
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices
- Ensure patient comfort and safety at all times
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate
- Certification in Dental Assisting is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and caring demeanor
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
