Salary Range: $65-75k / annually

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing engineering drawings, schematics, cable schedules, and layout diagrams using CAD software.

  • Support engineers in collecting technical data, performing design calculations, and organizing project documentation.

  • Coordinate with procurement, fabrication, and quality control teams to ensure accurate implementation of design intent.

  • Maintain and update engineering databases, records, and bill of materials.

  • Participate in site visits, inspections, and design reviews to gain field experience and exposure to project lifecycle stages.

  • Provide administrative and technical support for project meetings, reports, and deliverables.

  • Implement feedback and guidance from supervising engineers to improve technical proficiency and project understanding.

Required Qualifications:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering (or related field).

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar CAD tools; familiarity with project management or drafting software is a plus.

  • Attention to detail with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities to support multidisciplinary engineering tasks.

  • Basic understanding of engineering principles, safety standards, and project workflows.

Work Environment and Physical Demands:

  • The noise level in the work environment is typical of an office and is usually low to moderate.

  • This job may require working evenings and weekends on occasion.

  • Movements including but not limited to prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer, occasional standing, walking, bending, and reaching are required.

  • Regularly required to use hands to handle or feel; talk; see; and/or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and color vision.

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at all times.
