Join Our Team as a Mechanic for Construction Equipment!
Unite Contracting is seeking a skilled Construction Equipment Mechanic, looking to work with a dynamic and growing construction company. Unite Contracting in Metairie, LA, is currently seeking a motivated individual to join our team and work on small gasoline engines.
PAY: $25 Hour
HOURS: 40 To 60 Hours Per Week
Monday To Friday
Job Responsibilities:
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair various types of construction equipment and small gasoline engines.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure functionality
- Troubleshoot issues and provide solutions promptly
- Keep accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Mechanic of Construction Equipment
- Knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- A certification or degree in a related field is a plus
