The Faces Media Division

What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)

Daily activities include:

  • Calling business owners by category to invite them to claim a Faces spot
  • Running persuasive phone or Zoom presentations using our proven process
  • Managing category inventory for multiple markets (sold/open/held leads)
  • Updating CRM and inventory systems accurately and quickly
  • Following a structured yet flexible sales script and negotiation framework
  • Closing new business efficiently and confidently
  • Handing off new clients to editorial + production teams
  • Identifying opportunities to upsell clients into:
    • Custom web design projects
    • Digital ad management
    • Print + digital media services
  • Supporting the launch and growth of future Faces markets

    Your day will be a mix of calls, follow-ups, deal-closing, and building relationships with owners.

What Success Looks Like

  • Consistent daily outreach (20–50+ calls depending on market)
  • Strong closing ratios once prospects are engaged
  • Clean CRM notes and accurate category inventory updates
  • Hitting or exceeding monthly Faces sales goals
  • Fast follow-up and solid pipeline management
  • Confident negotiation and objection handling
  • Proactive communication with the Faces and Spotlight teams

Who You Are (Qualifications)

Required:

  • Proven B2B or inside sales experience
  • Comfortable and confident on the phone
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills
  • Organized and able to manage a rapid pipeline
  • Clear communication—direct, personable, upbeat
  • Comfortable with fast-paced, high-activity environments

Bonus:

  • Experience in advertising, media sales, or marketing
  • Familiarity with local business communities
  • One-call-close or category-based sales experience

Compensation Structure

Preferred Employment Model:

  • Base salary: $40,000–$50,000
  • Commission on all Faces sales
  • Profit sharing on market growth + performance
  • Additional upside when your Faces clients purchase:
    • Websites
    • Digital advertising
    • Marketing retainers
    • Magazine advertising

Other arrangements available for the right candidates:

  • Contractor (1099)
  • Part-time with commission
  • Hybrid custom comp structures
