We are seeking a proactive and skilled Facilities Manager to ensure our building, vehicles, and grounds continue to support our exceptional programs and services.
Position Summary
The Facilities Manager is responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, and fully operational environment across TNT’s facilities and vehicles. This position will manage repair work, vendor coordination, preventive maintenance, safety, and long-range facility planning. This role is both strategic and hands-on, ideal for someone who thrives in an active environment and takes pride in keeping operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
Facility & Grounds Management
- Ensure all utilities and facility systems are operating efficiently.
- Complete, schedule and oversee facility maintenance, repairs, janitorial services, and lawn care.
- Ensure facility compliance with inspections and safety regulations.
- Coordinate all work performed by outside contractors.
Vehicle Management
- Schedule vehicle repairs and maintenance.
- Support hauling equipment for off-site events.
- Train and supervise new drivers as needed.
Financial Administration
- Manage and update the annual facility and vehicle budget.
- Monitor expenses and manage inventory of parts and supplies.
- Prioritize and track capital improvements.
Safety & Security
- Oversee building and vehicle safety, including emergency preparedness.
- Manage building access, keys, and room codes.
- Support risk mitigation efforts in collaboration with leadership.
Long-Range Planning
- Work with the President & CEO on planning for facility growth, renovations, or new construction.
- Support future vehicle needs based on program expansion.
Additional Responsibilities
- Enforce and model TNT policies and safety protocols.
- Participate in organizational events and provide support as needed.
- Will include occasional evening and weekend coverage.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in facility management, maintenance, or related operations role.
- Prior experience supervising staff or vendors.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail and follow-through.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Familiarity with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and construction systems.
- Comfortable operating small machinery and tools.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and work in varied physical positions.
- Must be self-motivated and able to make independent decisions.

Certifications (Must Be Completed Within First 3 Months – Paid by TNT)
- ND Department of Health and Human Services Fingerprint Background Check
- CPR/First Aid/AED (Adult, Child & Infant – In-Person)
- CDC Heads UP Concussion Training (Online)
