Job Description
Job Summary: As a Field Lead you will be the point person for field activities. You will work closely with the Field Manager to ensure services and work is performed and completed to the company standard. This will be done by training new employees, quality checks, investigating customer complaints and assisting crews as necessary to ensure customer satisfaction. This position will also be required to work as part of the snow removal team in the winter, assist with trade shows and work with company leaders to refine company field processes and field functions.
Job Type: Full Time; Primarily weekdays, however some weekends due to weather or demand may be required.
Wage: $21-$26
Primary Duties:
- Ensure that programs and training is followed so that all technicians are aligned with the goals of the company.
- Assist with maintaining equipment, maintain crew size for optimal performance, managing daily schedule to meet quality and productivity goals.
- Spot check completed work to improve quality of service and to ensure contract compliance.
- Hold field crews accountable for the proper use of all equipment.
- Ensure field crews understands and execute strategy that drives the brand quality and growth.
- Assist with ensuring that all vehicles are well equipped to perform their daily tasks.
- Assist with ensuring company policies and procedures are met without compromise, consistent monitoring, and training to ensure crew understands expectations.
- Assist with managing daily lawn care/snow removal to ensure they are performed to the company standards.
- Ability to transport equipment to and from sites.
- Work with hand tools, power tools, small engine equipment, heavy equipment, and materials as needed.
- Snow removal in the winter months.
- Assist with performing lawn care, landscaping and related activities as needed.
- Meeting with potential clients and site visits per Manny’s Standards, as needed.
- Ensure work is performed to meet safety compliance.
- Perform all other duties as directed, in support of the overall success of the company.
Job Skills and Experience Required:
- Be knowledgeable in all areas of lawn, care, landscaping and snow removal.
- Continually learn and search for new techniques, methods for the industry.
- Ability to operate equipment safely and efficiently such as: lawn mowers, walk behind lawn mowers, string trimmers, blowers, trimmers, and other hand tools.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving skills.

- Punctual self-starter.

- Valid clean driver’s license (Required - Must be 18+ to drive company vehicles.)
- Ability to drive a pickup truck and trailer.

Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to communicate effectively with others. The employee must have dexterity of hands to perform the tasks required of this position and sight in order to be aware of hazards and dangers found in the nature of work. The employee will regularly stand, walk, and sit for extended periods of time. Must be able to climb, stoop, kneel, reach, push, pull, grasp, and perform repetitive motions. Ability to climb ladders of varying heights. Ability to lift moderate to heavy objects up to 100 lbs.
Lifting Requirements:
- Heavy work – Exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25-50 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Physical demand requirements are in excess of those for medium work.
