Position Overview

We are seeking an Experienced Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic to join our skilled team. This role is essential in keeping our fleet and equipment operating safely and efficiently. You’ll handle diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance on both diesel and gasoline vehicles, as well as construction equipment used in paving and concrete operations.

What You’ll Do

  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and brake systems on trucks and heavy equipment

  • Perform preventative maintenance and inspections to keep equipment job-ready

  • Handle repairs on a variety of equipment such as skid steers, asphalt rollers, loaders, and trucks

  • Complete road service calls and on-site repairs as needed

  • Document all repairs and maintenance accurately

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with safety standards

  • Collaborate with other mechanics and supervisors to prioritize repair schedules

What We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years of experience as a heavy truck or equipment mechanic

  • CDL Class A preferred, but not required

  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills

  • Experience with diesel and gasoline systems, AC, and electrical work

  • Knowledge of construction equipment repair (skid steers, rollers, loaders, etc.)

  • Ability to work flexible hours when needed

  • Safety-focused with strong attention to detail
