Unite Contracting is accepting applications for a Backhoe Rubber/ Tire Operator and Excavator Operator, breaking up streets and removing concrete and digging next to underground utilities in the New Orleans metropolitan area. Backhoe Rubber Tire and Excavator Operator will be digging up city streets and laying new water lines, sewage lines, and drainage lines. Must have Verifiable Experience as a Backhoe and Excavator Operator breaking up concrete roads with a jackhammer and removing concrete. Frontend loader experience is a plus.
Must have at least 2 years of verifiable experience as a Backhoe Operator. Working on a construction site as a heavy equipment operator laying underground piping, you will be required to perform daily maintenance on the construction equipment. An excavator heavy equipment operator is required to operate an Excavator, front-end loader, and skid steer. The equipment operator will work Monday through Friday and be off on weekends. A heavy equipment operator will be working 8 to 10 hours per day with overtime.
The Excavator - Backhoe operator job starts immediately, with a Monday to Friday schedule of 8-10 hours per day.
