Hospice RN Job Description at Pfeiffer Industries

Pfeiffer Industries, a leading healthcare company based in Boston, MA, is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Hospice RN to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to provide high-quality care and support to hospice patients and their families in their time of need.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care and support to hospice patients in their homes or in hospice facilities.
• Assess and monitor the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of patients in hospice care.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans for hospice patients.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the attending physician.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families on end-of-life care and symptom management.

Qualifications:

• Active RN license in the state of Massachusetts.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in hospice or palliative care.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and emotionally demanding environment.
• Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards hospice patients and their families.
