Housekeeper

Dismal River Club – Mullen, Nebraska

Dismal River Club is a premier destination resort tucked into the heart of Nebraska’s breathtaking Sandhills. This role is responsible for maintaining the high standards of cleanliness, comfort, and presentation expected by our members and guests. Housekeepers help create a clean and welcoming environment throughout the property including guest rooms, cabins, clubhouse areas, and employee spaces.

Position Details

Position Type: Full-Time or Seasonal
Season: Late April – Mid October
Shifts: 8–10 hour shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Reports To: Housekeeping Supervisor

Compensation & Benefits

• Starting Pay: $16-$17/hr (based on experience)

Primary Responsibilities

• Clean guest rooms, cabins, and clubhouse areas

• Strip and remake beds with fresh linens

• Vacuum, dust, and sanitize rooms and bathrooms

• Restock towels, linens, and guest amenities

• Clean mirrors, windows, walls, and floors

• Stock housekeeping carts and storage areas

• Report when rooms are cleaned and ready for guests

• Wash, dry, and fold laundry as needed

• Report maintenance issues or damaged items

• Assist with other housekeeping duties as needed

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping or hospitality experience preferred

• Strong attention to detail and positive attitude

• Ability to work independently and stay organized

• Able to lift up to 40 lbs and perform physical work

• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus

• Must have valid documentation to work in the United States
