General Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic, highly motivated team member for the position of HR/Recruitment Assistant. The HR/Recruitment Assistant will be responsible for providing exceptional, high-level support to the HR team in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include but are not limited to ensuring an efficient recruitment process, assisting with various HR administrative tasks, assisting with onboarding, and contributing to employee engagement initiatives. The position works closely with the HR Manager and provides high quality, timely assistance that requires a significant level of trust, self-discipline, and confidentiality. Regular weekly travel to DRN ReadiTech and subsidiaries staffed locations and area career fairs is required.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Supports Human Resources for the purpose of assisting with all phases of the recruitment process and assisting with administrative functions.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Support and collaboration in the creation, maintenance of new, current and accurate job descriptions
  • Assists with job postings and advertisement processes
  • Prepare and edit confidential documents
  • Attends and participates in area career fairs, recruitment sessions, and other trade shows as applicable
  • Comply with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies
  • Arrange meetings, tasks, travel regularly to office locations and career fairs
  • Utilize Microsoft Office software as well as HR software and other software and equipment
  • Utilize effective written and oral communication
  • Have a strong work ethic and be a self-starter, able to effectively manage multiple priorities and adapt to change within a fast-paced environment
  • Contribute to employee engagement initiatives
  • Must have valid driver’s license and be able to operate motorized vehicles
  • Regular, reliable, consistent, and punctual attendance is required
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as required to fulfill job function or as assigned

Education and Experience:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field and/or two (2) years of applicable work experience
  • Office suite software (including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to operate motorized vehicles
