Position Overview

We’re looking for an energetic and customer-focused Outside Sales Representative to join our Commercial Tire team in Bemidji, Minnesota. This role is responsible for growing commercial sales, developing strong customer relationships, and supporting fleets across northern Minnesota. You’ll be the face of Northwest Tire for our business customers — providing tire solutions, fleet service programs, and dependable support they can count on.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with existing commercial and fleet customers.

  • Identify and close new business opportunities across trucking, construction, and agriculture markets.

  • Promote and sell commercial tires, retreads, ag tires, OTR/forestry tires, and service programs including roadside assistance and fleet inspections.

  • Conduct regular customer visits to review tire performance and recommend solutions.

  • Prepare and deliver quotes, proposals, and service agreements.

  • Collaborate with our Bemidji service team to deliver outstanding customer experiences.

  • Meet or exceed monthly sales and profit goals.

  • Maintain product and industry knowledge to provide informed solutions.

Qualifications

  • Proven success in outside or B2B sales — preferably in commercial tires, fleet services, or related industries.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

  • Highly motivated, organized, and goal-oriented.

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

  • Basic computer proficiency (CRM, email, Microsoft Office).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with commercial tire programs (Bridgestone, Firestone, Goodyear, etc.).

  • Knowledge of fleet maintenance and tire management systems.
