IT Support Specialist

Location: Fully Remote (Primary timezone: CST)
Travel: Occasional travel to North Dakota facilities to meet with Leadership

Reports To: IT Manager


Summary

We are seeking a skilled IT Support Specialist to provide high-quality technical support for end users and maintain core services across our Microsoft 365 and Azure Entra ID environment. This role requires hands-on experience with Azure Entra ID domain and user management, Microsoft 365 Admin Centers, and Windows 11 desktop support. Ideal candidates will deliver excellent user service, support identity and access workflows, and collaborate on maintaining a secure and reliable technology environment.

This is a fully remote role operating in Central Standard Time (CST), with occasional travel to our North Dakota facilities for onsite collaboration and strategic meetings with Leadership.


Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues on Windows 11 devices
• Support Microsoft 365 apps: Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, Office apps
• Provide remote support and document solutions clearly and accurately
• Manage users, groups, and lifecycle processes in Azure Entra ID
• Support MFA, Conditional Access, and SSO configurations
• Perform daily admin tasks in Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, and Security & Compliance
• Manage mailboxes, Teams policies, SharePoint access, and related workflows
• Support device enrollment, compliance, and security best practices
• Assist with Ubiquiti UniFi Wi-Fi troubleshooting
• Use PowerShell for automation and reporting
• Optional scripting in C# or Python
• Maintain documentation and manage tickets within SLAs


Required Qualifications

• Experience with Azure Entra ID domain and user management
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Admin Centers (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive)
• Strong Windows 11 desktop support experience
• Understanding of DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, VPN, certificates, file/print services
• Strong communication, documentation, and user service skills

• Ubiquiti UniFi Wi-Fi hardware
• Microsoft Copilot for M365
• Copilot Studio agent creation
• PowerShell, C#, Python scripting
• SQL Server basics
• Intune/Endpoint Manager


Preferred Education & Certifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s in IT or related field or relevant experience
• Helpful certifications (not required): AZ-900, MS-900, SC-900, MD-102, MS-102, SC-300, A+, Network+, Security+
