Job Description
Here's the complete, current version:
Where Will You Be in Five Years?
Most job ads tell you what the job pays today. We want to tell you where it could take you.
Extreme Cleaning isn't looking for someone to fill a shift. We're looking for someone who's ready to build something — a career, a client base, a reputation that's theirs. Here's what that can look like:
Year One — You're learning the trade from the ground up, fully paid to train. New equipment, a brand-new work vehicle, paid travel, lodging covered when you're on the road. No micromanaging — just real skill-building, night after night.
Year Two — You're certified, on our dime. You've earned your first week of paid vacation. You know the equipment, the routes, the clients. You're not just doing the job anymore — you're becoming known for it.
Year Three — This is where it changes. Your division starts to feel like your business. Your clients ask for you by name. You're not managed — you're trusted to run your piece of the operation the way you'd run your own company, because in every way that matters, it is one.
Year Four & Five — You're not capped by an hourly rate anymore — you're capped by how hard you want to work. The relationships are yours. The reputation is yours. And by year five, you've earned two full weeks of vacation — time to actually enjoy what you're building. Whether that means a new truck, a down payment on a house, a boat in the driveway, or two weeks on a cruise you paid for in cash — that's the kind of ceiling we want you to hit.
So — where do you see yourself in five years?
Tell us in your application. We'll tell you where we see you. If those two visions line up, we think you'll find something rare here: a company that hands you an open sky and lets you earn exactly what you're worth.
The Job
Kitchen Exhaust Hood Cleaning Technician — Fargo, ND
Starting at $22/hr — with a built-in performance-based raise as you grow into the role. Evening schedule, with flexibility on time off. Overnight travel is part of the work — and it's paid, full wage, every hour.
What We Cover
• Full paid training — no experience required, though we love hood cleaners who already know their craft and want to finally be rewarded for it
• A performance-based pay increase built into your growth, not left to chance
• Certification paid for by the company when you're ready
• Brand-new work vehicles and industry-leading equipment — not hand-me-downs
• Lodging covered anytime you're staying out of town
• Full medical, dental, and vision coverage
• Paid time off — one week of vacation after year two, growing to two weeks by year five
• A fully digital, streamlined onboarding process — no mountain of paperwork, no wasted first week
• No sign-on bonus — because we'd rather invest that money in your growth, not a one-time check
What We're Looking For
Responsible. Dedicated. Career-driven. You don't need hood cleaning experience — you need the drive to build something over the next five years instead of just clocking in. If that's you, we'll teach you everything else.
Before You Apply
Are you comfortable with overnight travel? This role involves travel and can run overnight — if that doesn't work for your life right now, this may not be the right fit yet, and that's okay.
Where do you see yourself in five years? Tell us. We want to know if our vision and yours are the same one.
Apply now and let's find out if five years from now, you're driving something new — because you built it.
