Join Farmstead Living as a Laundry Attendant!
Part-Time PM Laundry Attendant 5 Days a week, 4 hr. Shift
4 hr. shift to fall between the hours of 4pm and 10pm.
Responsibilities:
- Sort, wash, dry, and fold, and put away all resident laundry with care and in accordance with established procedures.
- Inspect laundry for stains, damages, or items left in pockets and take appropriate action.
- Operate laundry equipment efficiently and safely.
- Maintain inventory of all laundry supplies and promptly notify the supervisor when restocking is required.
- Ensure that all laundry areas are clean, tidy, and organized at all times.
- Assist residents with any laundry-related requests or concerns, providing exceptional customer service.
- Collaborate with the housekeeping team to ensure all cleaning and laundry tasks are completed in a timely manner.
- Follow all health and safety regulations and guidelines to provide a safe environment for both residents and staff.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
- Ability to handle physical tasks such as lifting and carrying laundry loads.
- Attention to detail to ensure proper handling of delicate fabrics and different clothing types.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to a positive work culture.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing needs and priorities.
