Job Description - Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor
Red River Recovery Center, located in Dilworth, MN, is seeking a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) to join our dedicated team. As an LADC, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals seeking recovery from substance abuse.
Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group counseling sessions to clients in need of alcohol and drug addiction treatment.

- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine appropriate treatment approaches.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and progress notes.
- Participate in case conferences, staff meetings, and training sessions.
- Adhere to ethical standards and guidelines set forth by licensing boards and professional organizations.

Qualifications:
- Valid licensure as an Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) in the state of Minnesota.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or related field.
- Experience in providing counseling services to individuals dealing with substance abuse disorders.
- Strong knowledge of evidence-based treatment approaches and therapeutic interventions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
