30hop Restaurant in Cedar Rapids, IA is looking for a Line Cook to join our team! If you love working in a fun kitchen, enjoy cooking a mix of different dishes, and take pride in putting out great-looking plates, we’d love to have you!

30hop is a Midwest-based, full-service American bar and kitchen. We now have 6 total locations in Iowa, Kansas, Missouri and Nebraska with plans to get to 30 premier locations in the next 10 years. Grow with us!

Pay: $15-$22 per hour depending on experience.

Schedule: Full-time or part-time. Shifts are anywhere from 4-8 hours depending on your availability. Weekend availability is a must.

Full-time Benefits: Available for all full-time employees who work on average 35 hours per week or more.

Expectations

  • Sets up and stocks food items and other necessary supplies.
  • Prepares food items by cutting, chopping, mixing, and preparing sauces
  • Cooks food items by grilling, frying, sautéing, and other cooking methods to specified recipes and standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and complies with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage.
  • Cleans and sanitizes cooking surfaces at the end of the shift.
  • Performs inventory checks and completes food storage logs.
  • Exceptional communication skills- the ability to communicate clearly with the Chefs or highest management on the line.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • 6 months or more of line cook experience preferred
  • Prolonged periods of walking or standing.
  • Must be able to lift up to 40lbs
  • Must be able to lift, carry, and place up to 40 pounds at a time.
