Summary:
The Maintenance Technician must be flexible and respond to growing and changing needs of the company including but not limited to regular standby assignments and work scheduled off-hours due to business needs. Our technicians perform highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the plant’s business goals and objectives.

Schedule:
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Performs highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility’s equipment.
- Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service
- Performs mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
- Diagnoses problems replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments
- Completes work orders, carrying preventative maintenance schedules, and installing new equipment
- Performs minor and major repairs on plant equipment in the production facility.
- Completes PM’s within the production facility on various equipment, i.e. including but not limited to Air Supply, Wastewater, Water Supply, Air Handling Systems, and production equipment.
- Troubleshoots electronic/electrical components, including (3 phase 480 volt) equipment.
- Performs as required skilled maintenance activities to include but not limited to construction, welding, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing.
- Complies with OSHA Safety and Health rules.
- Maintain the maintenance shop by keeping it clean and organized.
- Be on call on off hours on days scheduled to work.
Specific Knowledge/Skills:
- Knowledge of screw conveyors, and gearboxes.
- Strong welding and fabricating
- Industrial plant safety practices.
- Basic electrical troubleshooting
Education & Experience Level:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Two-years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment

Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Manufacturing: 3 years (Preferred)
- Electrical experience: 2 years (Preferred)
- Maintenance: 2 years (Preferred)
