2nd Shift: 3:00pm-11:00pm
Hourly Rate: $28-$32
Shift Premiums: $0.50 2nd Shift, $1.25 3rd Shift

Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician with 3–4 years of hands-on experience in injection molding environments. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable production.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on injection molding machines (hydraulic, electric, and/or hybrid)

  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems

  • Diagnose mold, press, robot, and auxiliary equipment issues

  • Maintain hot runners, chillers, dryers, conveyors, robots, and material handling systems

  • Support mold changes, startups, and process adjustments

  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, hydraulic diagrams, and mechanical drawings

  • Perform root cause analysis on machine downtime and implement corrective actions

  • Follow all safety, lockout/tagout, and plant procedures

  • Document maintenance activities and parts usage in CMMS

  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and tooling teams

  • Support continuous improvement and equipment reliability initiatives


Qualifications

  • 3–4 years of maintenance experience in an injection molding or plastics manufacturing environment (required)

  • Strong knowledge of:

    • Injection molding presses (e.g., Engel, Arburg, Husky, Nissei, Milacron, etc.)

    • Hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical troubleshooting

    • Robotics and automation (preferred)

  • Ability to read schematics and technical manuals

  • Basic PLC troubleshooting (preferred)

  • High school diploma or GED required; technical degree or certification a plus


Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

  • Stand, walk, bend, and climb during shift

  • Work in a manufacturing environment with heat, noise, and moving equipment
