Job Description
SpringHill Suites Fargo is looking for a dependable, hands-on Maintenance Technician to help keep our hotel, guest rooms, and common areas safe, functional, and well maintained.
This is a part-time position offering approximately 24–32 hours per week, including some weekends. Pay is $19.00–$20.00 per hour, based on experience.
What You’ll Do
- Perform general maintenance and repairs throughout the hotel
- Troubleshoot and assist with HVAC systems
- Maintain and troubleshoot pool and hot tub equipment
- Handle basic plumbing repairs and maintenance
- Complete basic carpentry and general building repairs
- Perform preventative maintenance in guest rooms and common areas
- Respond to maintenance requests and address issues in a timely manner
- Perform custodial and deep-cleaning tasks as needed, including carpet shampooing
- Help maintain the appearance, cleanliness, and functionality of the property
- Assist with seasonal and special maintenance projects
What We’re Looking For
- General working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, pools, and carpentry
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Good attention to detail and pride in your work
- Ability to safely perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, climbing, and standing for extended periods
- Previous experience in hotel, apartment, commercial building, or general maintenance is preferred
Schedule & Compensation
- Part-time, approximately 24–32 hours per week
- Must be available to work some weekends
- $19.00–$20.00 per hour, based on experience
