Job Description
We’re hiring a Maintenance Technician to help maintain Fraser, Ltd.’s facilities, vehicles, and grounds. In this role, you’ll support daily maintenance operations, assist with repairs, distribute supplies, and help ensure our properties remain safe, clean, and welcoming for the individuals and families we serve.
What You’ll Do:
Facility & Grounds Maintenance
- Maintain sidewalks, including snow removal, sweeping, lawn care, and trimming
- Assist with groundskeeping and general upkeep of Fraser properties
- Help maintain facilities to an appropriate and professional appearance
- Support clean-up projects and facility improvement efforts
Building Maintenance & Repairs
- Perform minor plumbing and electrical repairs
- Assist with replacing overhead lighting and other routine maintenance tasks
- Support general maintenance of residential homes, Child Care, and Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) locations
- Record maintenance and repair work performed, including associated costs
Vehicle & Equipment Support
- Assist with the care, maintenance, and inspection of agency vehicles and equipment
- Operate and test vehicles to help identify maintenance needs and malfunctions
- Support routine vehicle maintenance and upkeep
Inventory & Supply Management
- Inventory supplies for residential homes, Child Care, and PSH locations and replenish stock as needed
- Deliver supplies and products to agency locations
- Assist with organizing and maintaining maintenance inventory
Agency Support
- Assist the Development Department by picking up donated items in a timely manner
- Support agency operations through product distribution and other assigned duties
- Work collaboratively with maintenance staff and other departments to meet organizational needs
What You Bring:
- Knowledge of basic maintenance, repair, and groundskeeping practices
- Ability to perform minor plumbing and electrical repairs
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift, carry, and move supplies and equipment as needed
- Valid driver’s license required
