We are seeking a detail-oriented, self-starter with the skills, experience, and passion to help the continued growth and legacy of our founder, Bill Moon. Join the Iowa 80 Trucking Museum team as an Antique Vehicle Mechanic / Restoration Technician! The Iowa 80 Trucking Museum is a nonprofit organization located on the grounds of the World’s Largest Truckstop, Iowa 80!
Responsibilities- Disassemble and reassemble trucks and gas pumps
- Organization and Upkeep of the Shop
- Rearranging vehicle displays in the Museum.
- Erecting displays and signage
- Balancing multiple projects
Requirements
- Mechanically inclined (engines and mechanical components)
- Enjoys solving puzzles
- Knowledge of antique vehicles is a PLUS!
- Detail-oriented and careful in the work
- Must be able to work independently and with a team.
- A love of antique cars/trucks
- Must have a Valid Driver’s License
- Minimum High School Graduate/GED
