Job Description

Join our team as a Mid-Level Provider! You will play a crucial role in delivering primary medical care to inmates in our facility and make a positive impact on our community.

Starting annual salary of $125,000 DOE plus benefits to include health insurance, retirement plan, paid holidays and much more.

Job Responsibilities:

Assessment and management of general medical problems of inmate patients with physician collaboration.

Perform admission exams, discharge physicals and annual and biennial physicals on inmate patients.

Conduct outpatient clinic/doctor call.

Write prescriptions following approved formulary.

Order appropriate labs and diagnostic tests for inmate patients.

Perform basic tests/procedures including but not limited to: lab draws, EKGs, suturing, etc.

Serve as on call health care provider as needed.

Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure the overall well-being of inmates.

Perform other duties as needed.

Qualifications:

Current licensure as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the North Dakota Board of Nursing or as a Physician’s Assistant by the North Dakota Medical Board. Ability to remain calm and composed in high-stress situations. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow policy and procedures accurately. Must pass a background check and drug screening
