Job Description
Under the supervision of the Neurodiagnostic coordinator or Neuro Tech II performs otoacoustic, electroencephalogram, and/or evoked potentials studies on all those served by this department including neonate, infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. A Neuro Tech I performs electroencephalograms and other neurodiagnostic tests on critically ill patients and in intensive care units.
? Licenses and Certifications Required ? Registration or eligible for registration in EEG or EP by ABRET is highly recommended. ? Basic Life Support (CPR) required within 30 days of hire. ? Educational Requirements ? Graduate of an accredited END technology program or equivalent formal training is highly recommended. ? Experience Requirements ? 6 months of experience in EEG or neurodiagnostic testing ? Special Skills or Training Requirements ? PC experience required.
