Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our growing pediatric team. As a COTA, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide therapeutic services to children with a variety of developmental needs in their homes and daycares.

Pay: $38 - $45 per visit (Visits are paid per unit, and 3-4 units per visit are expected)

Responsibilities

  • Implement occupational therapy treatment plans developed by the supervising OT

  • Provide direct therapy services using play-based and functional activities

  • Document and track patient progress, including functional outcomes and responses

  • Collaborate with SOAL’s multidisciplinary team to adapt treatment as needed

  • Educate families on home programs and techniques to support independence

  • Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation and compliance with regulations

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree from an accredited OTA program

  • Active Texas COTA license

  • Strong understanding of pediatric development and OT techniques

  • Home health and pediatric experience preferred

  • Excellent communication and organization skills

  • Reliable transportation and a valid Texas driver’s license
