Job Description

Westwood Curtis is a Jackson, Wyoming–based heavy civil contractor specializing in underground utility infrastructure including water, sewer, and storm systems. As our workload continues to grow, we are seeking a full-time Office Operations & Accounting Support team member to strengthen our administrative and financial processes. This job is based in Jackson, Wy.

This position will work closely with our Office Manager and leadership team to ensure daily operations run smoothly and financial documentation remains accurate and timely.

Position Overview

This role provides operational and bookkeeping support within the office. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling both administrative coordination and basic accounting responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

Administrative Support

  • Assist with daily office operations and documentation
  • Support communication between field and office staff
  • Help maintain organized project files and records
  • Assist with vendor coordination and document tracking
  • Provide general administrative support as needed

Accounting & Bookkeeping Support

  • Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Enter and reconcile transactions in QuickBooks
  • Support invoice preparation and billing coordination
  • Help track job cost coding and financial documentation
  • Assist with monthly financial reporting support
  • Coordinate documentation for CPA or external accountant as needed

Billing & Compliance Assistance

  • Support timely and accurate client billing
  • Track receivables and assist with follow-up
  • Help maintain compliance documentation for municipal and client requirements

Qualifications

  • Previous office administration experience required
  • Bookkeeping or accounting experience preferred
  • QuickBooks experience strongly preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a construction-focused environment
  • Positive, team-oriented attitude
