We are looking for a dependable Oil Delivery Driver who can deliver products safely and accurately, build strong customer relationships, and help meet the needs of the communities we serve.
About the Role
The Oil Delivery Driver is responsible for the safe and timely delivery of oil and lubricant products to customers throughout the assigned service area. This position requires careful attention to delivery accuracy, proper product handling, vehicle care, and customer service.
You'll work closely with dispatch, customers, and other team members to complete deliveries and communicate customer needs. Experience delivering fuel or propane (LP) is preferred to support cross-training and additional delivery responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate company delivery vehicles in accordance with applicable regulations and company policies.
- Deliver oil and lubricant products to customer locations accurately and on schedule.
- Verify product types, quantities, delivery instructions, and receiving locations before unloading.
- Load, secure, transport, and unload products using appropriate equipment and procedures.
- Follow established procedures to prevent spills, product contamination, and delivery errors.
- Complete required vehicle inspections and promptly report maintenance needs or safety concerns.
- Maintain accurate delivery tickets, inspection records, and other required documentation.
- Communicate with dispatch regarding delivery progress, scheduling changes, and customer needs.
- Provide professional, courteous service and build positive relationships with customers.
- Maintain delivery vehicles, equipment, and work areas in a clean and orderly condition.
- Follow company safety procedures and promptly report incidents, spills, or unsafe conditions.
- Participate in cross-training for fuel and propane deliveries, with duties assigned according to training and required qualifications.
- Assist with loading, inventory handling, and other operational needs as assigned.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Physical Requirements
- Ability to safely perform the lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling required to load and deliver products.
- Ability to climb into and out of delivery vehicles and use steps and handholds safely.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and reach throughout the workday.
- Ability to handle delivery hoses, containers, and related equipment as required.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather and at different customer locations.
