About the Role
The Sanitation Specialist is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing dishes, baking pans, utensils, and equipment used throughout the day. Because our ovens never stop, you will help ensure that clean tools and trays are always ready for our bakers. We value team members who understand that a tidy kitchen supports a FUN work environment for everyone, from the early morning crew to the afternoon staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, pans, trays, and utensils by hand and with commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Keep the dish area organized, stocked, and free of clutter throughout each shift.
- Scrape, soak, and pre-treat baking pans and equipment with heavy residue.
- Empty trash and recycling and help maintain overall kitchen cleanliness.
- Sweep and mop floors in the dish and prep areas as needed.
- Restock clean dishes and tools so bakers can work without delays.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines consistently.
- Support the kitchen team with light prep or cleaning tasks during slower periods.

Qualifications
- Ability to stand for extended periods and move quickly in a busy kitchen.
- Ideal schedule for this position is 2pm to 8pm
- Capacity to lift and carry trays, racks, and bus tubs that may weigh up to 40 pounds.
- Reliability and punctuality, including availability for weekend or holiday shifts.
- Comfort working in a warm, wet environment around hot water and cleaning chemicals.
- A team-first mindset and willingness to pitch in wherever needed.
- Previous dishwashing or kitchen experience is helpful but not required; we are glad to train.
