Part-time Tray/Dishwasher Job Description:

Thank you for considering joining our team at Sandy's Donuts & Coffee Shop in Sandy's Donuts West Fargo ND. We are seeking a reliable and responsible individual to fill the position of part -time Tray/Dishwasher. The days we are looking to fill are Thursday's and Friday's 4 pm - 9 Pm.

The primary role of this position is to ensure the cleanliness and organization of trays and dishes during weekend shifts. The successful candidate will maintain a high standard of cleanliness and follow all established sanitation procedures to guarantee a safe and hygienic environment for our customers.

The candidate for our Tray/Dishwasher must be able to handle a fast-paced work environment and work efficiently under pressure. As part of our team, your dependability and responsible attitude will be crucial to maintain the seamless flow of operations during our busiest times.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for cleaning and sanitizing trays, dishes, utensils, and other kitchen equipment while adhering to established standards and procedures.
• Ensure the availability of clean trays and dishes for the kitchen staff as needed, displaying a reliable and responsible work ethic.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized dishwashing area, including disposing of waste and restocking cleaning supplies.
• Follow proper handling and storage of all trays, dishes, and utensils to prevent damage or breakage.
• Notify management of any equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, or maintenance needs.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and contribute to a positive work environment.
• Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations, promoting a safe and hygienic environment.
• Perform additional duties assigned by management to meet the needs of the business.

Requirements:

• Prior experience in a similar role or knowledge of general dishwasher operations is preferred, but not required.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays, displaying reliability and responsibility.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift, bend, and perform repetitive tasks.
• Attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently to ensure a smooth workflow.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and management.
• Dedication to maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
