Powder Coater

$15–$22 per hour | Day Shift | Overtime Available
Morgan Metals Inc is hiring a Powder Coater to join our metal fabrication team in Athens, AL. If you have experience applying powder coatings in a manufacturing environment, we want to hear from you.
Compensation & Schedule:
- $15–$22 per hour
- Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:45 PM
- Weekends as needed (overtime opportunities)

Responsibilities:
- Prepare metal surfaces through cleaning, sanding, masking, and racking
- Apply powder coating using spray guns and powder booth systems
- Operate curing ovens to ensure proper finish and durability
- Inspect coated parts for thickness, coverage, and defects
- Maintain equipment and follow all safety procedures
- Meet daily production targets
Qualifications:
- Previous powder coating experience preferred
- Knowledge of surface preparation and finishing techniques
- Ability to work in a production environment
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
