Position Overview
Providence House is seeking a reliable and professional Program Support Aide to support daytime operations within a structured residential substance use treatment facility serving women.
The Day Shift Program Support Aide helps maintain program flow, reinforces facility expectations, supports clinical operations, and ensures safety and documentation standards are consistently met.
This is an active, accountability-based role. It requires professionalism, clear boundaries, and strong written documentation.
Primary Responsibilities
Program Operations
• Support structured daily schedules and transitions
• Reinforce facility rules and behavioral expectations
• Maintain professional boundaries at all times
• Redirect minor behavioral issues and escalate concerns appropriately
Safety and Monitoring
• Conduct room checks and facility checks as assigned
• Assist with medication observation per policy
• Conduct urinalysis, breathalyzer testing, and searches in accordance with procedures
• Monitor resident compliance with program guidelines
Documentation and Compliance
• Complete shift documentation accurately and on time
• Document observations, incidents, and behavioral changes
• Maintain strict confidentiality in accordance with 42 CFR Part 2
• Ensure adherence to facility policies and licensing standards
Facility Support
• Assist with intake and discharge procedures as assigned
• Support daily operational needs to maintain a structured treatment environment
Qualifications
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to enforce structure respectfully and consistently
• Comfort working in a behavioral health setting
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening
Preferred Experience
• Experience in residential treatment, behavioral health, corrections, or structured care environments
• Familiarity with substance use disorder treatment settings
