Work Hours: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:00-5:00pm
Skills / Requirements / Qualifications:
Review appraisals for compliance with USPAP (Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice), federal regulations, and bank policy.
Physically inspect properties, documenting conditions and market area.
Perform market research and analysis; identify trends and market implications.
Prepare residential, commercial, and agricultural real estate evaluation reports using appropriate valuation methodologies that meet bank and regulatory requirements.
Manage external appraisal and attorney vendors and in-house evaluators. Review and recommend their approval requests to the board of directors. Manage ongoing eligibility and maintain the database of approved parties.
Perform reviews of HMDA reportable loans in support of regulatory reporting.
May assist with construction management through site inspections, draw verifications, and progress monitoring.
Provide subject matter knowledge and support to lending, risk management and others.
Lead and/or assist with projects.
Position requires a bachelor’s degree in real estate, business, accounting, banking, or related business field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Three to five years of related experience or training in real estate, appraisal, credit, or ag/commercial/mortgage lending required.
If licensed, incumbent is expected to complete CE required to maintain certification.
