Join Our Team as a Residential Supervisor in Bismarck, ND!

Enable, Inc in Bismarck, ND is seeking a Residential Supervisor to join our team and help oversee the day-to-day operations of our residential programs. As a Residential Supervisor, you will have the opportunity to work directly with individuals with disabilities, providing support, guidance, and encouragement to help them live their best lives.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide supports to individuals by assisting in the development and implementation of all support plans, including spiritual life supports, assisting individuals in achieving their personal goals and desires, providing interaction and choices for activities that support a meaningful day, and supporting individuals to be independent in activities of daily living.
Assist with information gathering for Personal Outcome Measures, and other assessments.
Maintain open communication and cooperative work effort with other staff to assure quality and continuity of support to individuals served, along with participating in a team approach model for problem solving.
Adhere to Enable’s medication administration policy and procedures. Medications will be administered by DSP’s using Enable’s med passer/med checker protocol.
Serve as a role model and leader to newer staff, provides support and guidance to all co-workers.
Review individual’s data sheets weekly for residential settings/daily for day facilities ensure that programming is followed, and the paperwork is filled out correctly and completely.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High school graduate or equivalent. Additional experience with individuals with DD & IID preferred or as required by regulations.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Valid driver’s license and good driving record as defined by Enable, Inc.’s policy.
Achieve Certification through MSU according to State and Enable, Inc.’s policies.
Clear background checks as defined by regulations and policies.
Ability to lift at least 50 pounds. Ability to do daily standing, bending, and lifting. Must be able to stand for 8 hours at a time.
Must possess good verbal, reading, and written communication in English; basic math skills; and basic computer skills.
Must have knowledge and skills necessary to perform ordinary household functions, cooking, cleaning, etc.
Ability to work effectively and harmoniously with others, flexibility with respect to hrs. of work and changing conditions, be of good moral character, have an interest in the welfare of the individuals supported, have training and/or interest in the field of developmental disabilities, and have a willingness/ability to communicate with and relate to individuals supported, parents, guardians, fellow-staff, representatives of community agencies, and company management.
