Salary: $55,000–$65,000 per year (Based on Experience)

JL Beers is seeking an experienced and motivated Restaurant General Manager to lead our Downtown Fargo location.

As General Manager, you'll oversee all aspects of restaurant operations while ensuring exceptional guest experiences and team success.
Leadership & Team Development
- Recruit, train, coach, and develop team members
- Foster a positive, respectful, and high-performing work environment
- Lead by example through strong communication and professionalism
- Motivate staff to consistently deliver legendary guest service
- Manage daily restaurant operations
- Ensure food quality, safety, and consistency standards are met
- Oversee scheduling, labor management, and staffing levels
- Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and overall facility appearance
- Ensure compliance with company policies and health regulations
Financial & Inventory Management
- Monitor and manage food, beverage, and labor costs
- Order, receive, and manage inventory
- Analyze sales performance and identify opportunities for growth
- Achieve operational and financial goals
- Deliver exceptional hospitality and guest satisfaction
- Resolve guest concerns professionally and effectively
- Maintain the welcoming atmosphere JL Beers is known for
- Build relationships with guests and become an active presence in the restaurant
Marketing & Community Engagement
- Support local marketing efforts
- Assist with social media and promotional initiatives
- Help drive brand awareness and community involvement
- Previous restaurant management experience required
- Experience overseeing restaurant operations, staffing, and financial performance
- Strong leadership and team-building skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Experience with scheduling, labor management, and inventory control
- Knowledge of food safety and restaurant sanitation standards
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, POS systems, and scheduling software
- Basic marketing and social media knowledge
- Must be at least 21 years of age
