Description

Responsible for providing primary care to patients, including assessment, treatment, care planning, and medical care evaluation.

Qualifications

Licenses and Certifications Required • Current or temporary RN license in ND or compact RN licensure. • CPR required within orientation period. • Ongoing Point of Care certifications as required for department required within orientation period. •

Educational Requirements - RN program as evidenced by licensure. - BSN preferred.

Experience Requirements - One year or more of professional nursing experience preferred. - Clinic experience preferred. - Coding experience preferred.

Special Skills or Training Requirements - May include travel to satellites. - Computer use. - Special additional requirements (one or more of following): - Assist provider in surgery. - Assist with set up and clean up of OR. - Assist with positioning of patient. - Assist with retraction and limb holding. - Assist with efficient operation of the call cases. - Practices sterile technique for gowning, gloving and throughout the case.- ACLS certification as required for position. - PALS certification as required for position. - Chemotherapy certification as required for position. - Majority of time is spent at the hospital site. - Monitor IV sedation cases. - Monitor IV infusions. - Draw and package lab samples with additional training and take x-rays with limited license operator training.
