Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Teacher Aide to join our team at Barnesville Daycare Center in Fergus Falls MN. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children, possess excellent communication skills, and have a strong desire to support the lead teacher in providing a nurturing and educational environment for our young learners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and curriculum
  • Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities
  • Monitor and ensure the safety of all children at the daycare center
  • Provide support in promoting positive behavior and social skills development
  • Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers regarding the child's progress
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and organized classroom environment
  • Attend staff meetings and training sessions as required

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience working with children preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Passion for early childhood education and childcare
