Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Teacher Aide to join our team at Barnesville Daycare Center in Fergus Falls MN. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children, possess excellent communication skills, and have a strong desire to support the lead teacher in providing a nurturing and educational environment for our young learners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and curriculum
- Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities
- Monitor and ensure the safety of all children at the daycare center
- Provide support in promoting positive behavior and social skills development
- Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers regarding the child's progress
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized classroom environment
- Attend staff meetings and training sessions as required
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience working with children preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Passion for early childhood education and childcare
