We are currently seeking a caring and passionate Teacher Aide to join our team at Barnesville Daycare Center in Wahpeton, ND. As a Teacher Aide, you will assist the lead teacher in providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the lead teacher in planning and implementing age-appropriate activities for children
- Supervise and interact with children to facilitate their cognitive, social, and emotional development
- Help maintain a clean and organized classroom environment
- Communicate effectively with parents and other staff members
- Assist with meal and snack preparation, feeding, and diapering as needed
- Attend staff meetings and trainings as required
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience working with children preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff
- Basic knowledge of early childhood development and education principles
- Ability to pass a background check
- CPR and First Aid certification a plus
