Job Description

Vinyl Wrap and Decal Installer – Will Train

Fargo, ND

Custom Graphics is hiring a full-time person for our install crew. We put graphics on vehicles, walls, windows, floors, and buildings. No two days are the same!

If you have installed vinyl before, good. If you have not, we will train you. We're looking for the right person.

What you would actually do

• Clean and prep surfaces so the vinyl sticks.
• Lay decals, lettering, and vehicle wraps, straight and bubble-free.
• Solve problems when the job on site doesn't match the plan.
• Travel with the crew, mostly local, some overnights.
• Keep the shop, truck, and tools in order.

Who does well here

• Patient hands. You would rather do it once and do it right.
• You show up, on time, ready to go.
• You say something when a job is not right instead of hoping nobody notices.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable record.
• Comfortable on a ladder, scaffolding, or a lift, and can move 50 lbs when you need to.

Experience that carries over

You do not need a sign background. These all transfer well: window tint, paint protection film, auto body, detailing, painting, drywall and taping, wallpaper, flooring or tile, screen printing, boat and RV work, or anything where you have laid a material flat and true on a surface.

Pay

$20 – $25 an hour, based on experience. Certified installers start at $27. We help pay for certification.

Full time, Monday through Friday, overtime available.

401(k) with match, health, dental, vision, HSA, life insurance, and PTO.

About the shop

Custom Graphics has been in Fargo since 1982. About 40 people work here. We train you, then trust you to do the job.

Not a fit if

You need someone standing over you to stay on task, you cut corners when nobody is watching, or you cannot be away overnight now and then.
