Warehouse and Delivery Job Description
At dakBUILT, we are seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team as a Warehouse and Delivery Associate in Kindred, ND. As a member of our warehouse department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our supply chain. The Warehouse and Delivery Associate will be responsible for various tasks related to receiving, storing, and distributing materials and products within our warehouse facility.
Warehouse Responsibilities:
- Check and inspect goods received for damages or defects; report any discrepancies to the appropriate personnel.
- Sort, label, and store items in the designated location within the warehouse, ensuring proper inventory organization.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to customer specifications.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Assist in loading and unloading trucks, ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of products.
- Coordinate with delivery drivers and provide necessary paperwork or delivery instructions.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety guidelines and quality standards.
Delivery Responsibilities:
- Deliver product using company vehicles as needed per calendar.
- Maintain vehicles and trailers to ensure the safe and efficient delivery of products.

Qualifications:
- Clean driving history and ability to attain DOT medical card.
- Prior warehouse and delivery, or related, experience.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks (training can be provided if necessary).
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in receiving, storing, and shipping goods.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate effectively with coworkers and drivers.
- Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
