Job Title: Web Developer & Designer
Location: Sioux Falls, South Dakota (On-site)

The Role:
The Web Developer & Designer will lead website builds for our clients. You’ll work directly with our team to build thoughtful, well-crafted websites, from initial planning and design through final launch. Our website projects range from small business sites to more complex builds for clients in industries like construction, healthcare, and professional services. You’ll have support on content and copy, but you’ll be the person who makes it all come together.
What You’ll Do:
- Build new WordPress websites from the ground up
- Collaborate with our Creative Partner and team on design direction and layout
- Work with the team to develop and refine page content and copy
- Handle site launches, domain setup, hosting configuration, and troubleshooting
- Make updates and improvements to existing client websites as needed
- Communicate clearly with the team about project timelines and progress
- Conduct annual maintenance on client websites, including plugin updates, security checks, and hosting renewals
- Contribute to other small projects when bandwidth allows
Required:
- 3+ years of experience building websites in WordPress or similar
- Experience with CSS, HTML, and basic PHP for custom styling and troubleshooting
- A genuine care and eye for design
- Strong understanding of responsive and mobile-first design
- Comfort with hosting environments, staging sites, and workflows
- Ability to work independently, manage your time, and meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to organized, polished work
- Comfortable working in a small team environment
Nice to Have:
- Experience working at a marketing or creative agency
- Experience with DNS and domain management
- Comfort with basic SEO best practices during the build process
- Experience developing website wireframes or mockups
- Experience with project management and automation tools such as ClickUp, Zapier
